Utila is popular with student divers from Open Water through to Instructor level and also features enough variety to keep certified divers happy. Of course, Utila is most well-known as one of the best places in the world to see the giants of the sea - Whale Sharks. During the Whale Shark seasons (March-April & August-September) the chances of snorkeling with one of the world's biggest fish are outstanding.
